MEET THE FOUNDER

Travis Gordon, owner and lead instructor of Gordon Driving School, has been teaching driver education since 2014. He’s worked with students of all ages and backgrounds—from 14-year-olds behind the wheel for the first time to 91-year-old drivers sharpening their skills. His passion comes from seeing that moment when everything clicks and a student truly becomes a confident, capable driver.

Travis has taught refugees with no experience, engineers who design Oregon’s roadways, and even partnered with Portland Police for classroom instruction. He’s delivered presentations to driver educators nationwide, administered thousands of DMV drive tests, and served as a trainer for new instructors across Oregon through Western Oregon University.

He currently sits on the West Region Board of ADTSEA, the national association for driver education, and has helped create one of the most widely used driver’s ed textbooks in the country. He’s also worked with companies to reduce crash rates through fleet driver coaching.

A dedicated community member, Travis serves on the Keizer Chamber of Commerce board and volunteers regularly at local events. With Gordon Driving School, he’s combining deep experience with a simple mission: help students feel safe, confident, and ready for the road ahead.
